The National Olympic Park app is designed for park-goer of all kinds. You don't have to be a qualified wild explorer to use it, but even a newbie like me knows how to have fun with this app. This app is like a Wikipedia x Instagram x national geographic channel. Simply press a button and it gives everything a park-goer needs to know before he/she plans out the trip. From must-visit spots to extinguishing wild animals to a survival kit. User is also capable to interact with park rangers by asking real-time questions and get responses back immediately.

National Olympic Park requires user's registration to activate the app because it's designed to park goers who like to share experience and comments, hoping to build up a community and help newbies with enough information and tips. We are looking for a mature design with elegance yet trendy to possibly appear people of many kinds.

Pinning A Spot Gets Everything /
​
After login, a map of the whole national park is displayed on top, user can either pin a location on the map to start or simply select a park ranger down below. Every ranger is in charge of one or several locations which also reflects on the map as pin icon(s). In the middle, there is information on each specific pinned spot every park-goer might want to know before they start a trip.

A Full Package For Park Goer /

An enthusiastic park-goer might need to know about the weather forecasts before he/she plans out the trip. Also might want to study about its history, taking a sneak peek on the galley. Or avoid hidden spot that hides vigorous wild animals. All the must-know info is perfectly contained in the info area. And the info updates every time when user opens up his / her app

Word Of Mouth Or You Decide /

When user clicks on the pinned spot, it immediately takes user to a page where related info shows up. User can swipe through the gallery, give photos a thumb up or just read about comments other members left below. There's also recommended spot / most (least) viewed spot user can decide based on the average score each spot gains from other users in this community.

Hand Drawn Seating Postures /

Other than giving alike on the image, user gets to learn more history when clicking on the image. A brief intro automatically appears right below the image itself, shoving another image down the bottom. The intro sometimes comes with related photography where user can take a look. Now to plan a trip on a wild national park is no longer clueless. With verified info and other goers' feedbacks, you have a fair perspective on deciding if the spot is worth visiting!
